This is me trying to get in to the world of new technology with my boy michael, reminiscing to start with.
I was reading our Mike's horror blog and I got me thinking of a response to one of his questions, that being "what was the last horror film you saw"? Sure I remember sleeping through the likes of Saw and Final Destination (what a load of old shite as Catherine Tate would say). But the last film I saw properly in a cinematic environment was The Omen, yes the original, it was really that long ago. Ah the working men's clubs of ye olde Blyth (Howay Blyth!), where you could get into a horror film for 50 pence, of course there was always the risk that the really cheap, crappy film stock would break and you'd have to wait for the club steward/ Projectionist to fix it, sometimes after several tries. So there we were watching The Omen, I'm sure you remember it and what point does the film freeze and jump, so that we have to watch it over and over again til its fixed, only the goriest part of the whole bloody movie, the grisly beheading. I knew there was a reason I was so disturbed.
